Dhanbad, February 6: The Jharkhand Badminton Association (JBA) has rescheduled the programme of the Jharkhand State Master Badminton Championship scheduled to be held in Ranchi from February 9 to 11.
Giving this information, JBA general secretary K Prabhakar Rao said the three-day tournament has been reduced to two days. It will now be organised from February 10 to 11 at Ranchi Khelgaon Indoor Badminton Stadium.
The tournament is conducted under the Ranchi District Badminton Association (RDBA).

Jharkhand State Master Badminton tournament would be a championship cum selection trial for the state men’s and women’s teams represented in the national championship.
The Master Badminton Championship events will be held for men’s and women’s singles and doubles +35 years, +40 years, +45 years,+ 50 years,+ 55 years, +60 years,+ 65 years, + 70 years, and +75 years.
JBA general secretary K Prabhakar Rao, joint secretary of the Badminton Association of India (BAI)and National Chairman of Paralympic Badminton, said a participant can participate only in three age events.
Players with a BAI ID would be allowed to participate in it.
