New Delhi, March 5: The founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, has surpassed Elon Musk to reclaim the title of richest person in the world. Bezos’s net worth as of right now is estimated to be USD 200 billion by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, while Musk’s has dropped to USD 198 billion.
According to the Index, which was released on Tuesday, the founder of Amazon made USD 23 billion in gains over the previous year, while the CEO of Tesla lost almost USD 31 billion.
As per the most recent Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the chief executive of luxury brand Louis Vuitton’s parent company LVMH, Bernard Arnault holds the position of the third wealthiest individual, possessing a net worth of USD 197 billion.

Following Arnault are Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg with USD 179 billion and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates with USD 150 billion.
Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, holds the 11th position, while Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, occupies the 12th spot.
Ambani’s wealth amounted to USD 115 billion, whereas Adani’s net worth was USD 104 billion.
