Jamshedpur, Dec 11: The Asian Kids Sport Climbing Championship 2023 concluded in Jamshedpur last evening.
The closing day witnessed the culmination of intense competition in the final rounds of Lead and Bouldering for both males and females across categories – Youth C & Youth D.
Chief guest of the event Ujjal Chakraborty, Managing Director of JCAPCPL graced the closing ceremony.
Also present on the occasion were Sanjay Kr Singh, chairman of the Sports Advisory Committee; Rasip Inn, General Secretary of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) Asia; Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, Chief of Sports Excellence Centres at Tata Steel; and Hemant Gupta, Head of TSAF & Sports Academies.

Inspiration for future climbers
Amidst the competitive fervour, the indomitable spirit of the participating kids shone through, showcasing not only their athletic prowess but also their resilience and determination.
The aura of the TSAF Sport Climbing Arena, touted as one of the best in India, provided the perfect backdrop for young climbers to push their limits and achieve new heights.
As the curtains fell on the Asian Kids Sport Climbing Championship 2023, the memories of this three-day extravaganza will linger, serving as an inspiration for the future generation of climbers and enthusiasts alike.
On the occasion, the website of Tata Steel Sport Climbing Championship 2024 along with the mascot for the event named ‘Aira’ was also unveiled.
