Dhanbad, February 15: 47-member probable men’s and women’s Jharkhand badminton teams of different age groups for the Panchkula (Haryana) National Badminton championship have been announced.

Giving this information, Jharkhand Badminton Association general secretary K Prabhakar Rao said that players had been selected based on their performance in the Jharkhand Master Badminton Championship, which concluded at Indoor Stadium Khelgaon last week.

The winner and runner-up of each age group event will represent the state in the national championship.

The National Master men’s and women’s badminton championship will be held at Panchkula (Haryana) from March 16 to 23.

Men’s singles 35+ – Deepak Kumar (Ranchi), Upendra Kumar Mishra, Women’s Singles 35+ Sarla Murmu,

35+ mixed doubles- Sanju Kumar – Sarla Murmu.
