Deoghar, Dec 13: Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court, Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan, along with his family, offered prayers at the Baba Baidyanath Temple on Saturday morning and sought the blessings of Lord Baba Baidyanath.

Justice Chauhan, who arrived in Deoghar by plane on Friday, proceeded to Dumka later today to attend an official function after completing the temple visit.
Earlier in the morning, temple priests performed the Sankalp ceremony for the Chief Justice amid Vedic chants. He then performed Jalabhishek and other traditional rituals at the Dwadash Jyotirlinga.

Following the completion of the worship, Deoghar Deputy Commissioner Naman Priyesh Lakda and Superintendent of Police Saurabh, who were present at the temple premises, honoured the Chief Justice by presenting a memento, angvastra (ceremonial cloth), and prasad of Baba Baidyanath as a mark of respect.
On the occasion, several senior district administration officials were present, including the Principal District and Sessions Judge, the Sub-Divisional Officer-cum-Baba Baidyanath Temple in-charge, along with other concerned officers, magistrates, police officials, and staff.
