Jharkhand CM asks chief secretary to resolve potato issue

Ranchi, Dec 1: Taking cognisance of the news of potato-laden vehicles being stopped on the Bengal border since November 30, Chief Minister Hemant Soren today directed Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari to immediately resolve the matter.

The chief secretary, in turn, spoke to her West Bengal counterpart Manoj Pant on the phone for a resolution of the matter. Manoj Pant has assured that soon a committee will be formed to ensure the resolution of the potato matter.
