Ranchi, Sept 10: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has assured that all Durga Puja committees across Ranchi and neighbouring areas will receive the full support of the state government, as in previous years. He emphasised that the district administration and Puja organising committees should work in close coordination to ensure the festival is conducted in a peaceful and harmonious environment.

Focus on Ranchi’s transformation into a model city

Reiterating his government’s commitment to urban development, the Chief Minister said that developing Ranchi as a model city remains a top priority. He highlighted that the government is implementing a special action plan to make the city cleaner, more beautiful, and better equipped with public facilities.

“The all-round development of Ranchi requires active participation from both the government and the public. We are continuously adding new initiatives that will give the city a distinct identity in the future,” Soren said.
