Ranchi: Following the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, a three-member team left for Uttarakhand to help the workers of Jharkhand as a result of the accident that took place in the tunnel under construction between Silkyara and Dandalgaon on Brahmakamal and Yamunotri National Highway in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand.

The team includes JAP-IT CEO Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh, Joint Labour Commissioner Rajesh Prasad, and Pradeep Robert Lakra. The team has been instructed to provide necessary assistance to these workers and update him on the telephone from time to time.

Notably, on the day of Diwali, a major accident took place early in the morning in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The lives of 40 people are in danger here. About 40 labourers working there were buried due to a landslide inside the tunnel under construction from Silkyara to Dandalgaon on Yamunotri National Highway. The police administration is engaged in rescuing them. The tunnel is being constructed by Navyuga Company under the direction of NHIDCL. It is being said that 40 labourers are trapped inside the tunnel. The District Disaster Management Uttarkashi has confirmed this. The work of removing the debris is being done by the company.

15 labourers from Jharkhand were also trapped in this accident.

Vishwajeet Kumar, Subodh Kumar (Simradhab), Anil Bedia, Rajendra Bedia, Sukram (Kheerabera), Tinku Sardar (Dumaria), Gunodhar, Ranjit, Ravindra (Manikpur), Sameer (Bankisol), Mahdev (Chelabeda), Bhaktu Murmu (Kundaluka). , Chamra Oraon(Lerta), Vijay Horo(Gumad) and Ganapathy(Madugama).
