The three other marijuana addicts identified as Deepak, Rishu and Sanjay, part of the team that made a bid on the life of Gautam, have been remanded in judicial custody today.
The bid on Gautam’s life was no freak shootout but a determined one as Gautam had a bullet shot in the chest and abdomen.
Police recovered the illicit weapon too used in the crime. The father of the victim lodged the FIR.
SP Reeshma Ramesan said there was a tiff over marijuana, which resulted in a shootout.
