Ranchi, Dec 8: The office of the Tribal Welfare Commissioner has started a helpline to resolve the problems related to pre and post-matric scholarships in Jharkhand.

Under the new system, three provisions have been made keeping in mind the convenience of the students. To solve their problems, students can contact toll-free number 1800-599-1289 from 11 am to 4 pm. Apart from this, WhatsApp number 9440256299 will remain operational 24 hours to register the problems of students through online form. Students can also send their problems on X (Twitter) account @TWC_Office_Jhar. Problems received through the above three means will be responded to/resolved within 48 hours.

Under this new system, students can mention their scholarship application number, full name, academic year, mobile number, and district along with their problem for timely resolution of their problem.

Tribal Welfare Commissioner Ajaynath Jha said that that we are also developing an app with a list of the problems frequently faced by students with readymade solutions.
