Ranchi, August 28: In a major setback to Manoj Poonamia, an accused in the money laundering case linked to former Chief Minister Madhu Koda, the Jharkhand High Court has dismissed his criminal revision petition.
Earlier, the Ranchi PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) special court had framed charges against Poonamia and rejected his discharge petition. Challenging the trial court’s order, he had filed a criminal revision before the High Court in 2012.
