Ranchi, August 14: Jharkhand High Court has granted significant relief to former Chief Minister and BJP State President Babulal Marandi, former Union Minister Arjun Munda, Union Minister of State Sanjay Seth, and Dhanbad MP Dhullu Mahto, among more than two dozen BJP leaders.
During the hearing on Wednesday, the court dismissed the FIR against the 28 petitioners.

The case, numbered 107/2023, was filed at Dhurwa police station after disturbances during a BJP secretariat siege program last year, involving three former Chief Ministers, half a dozen MPs, and 41 individuals in total.
The accused faced charges related to creating disturbances, inciting riots, violating government orders, obstructing official duties, inciting crimes, and causing harm to others.
The case was heard in the court of High Court Justice Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, with arguments presented by advocates Prashant Pallav, Parth Jalan, and Shivani Jaluka on behalf of Babulal Marandi and Arjun Munda.
