Jharkhand High Court unveils new App and logo at silver jubilee celebration

 

Ranchi, Nov. 16: In a major step toward digital transformation, the Jharkhand High Court launched a new mobile application titled “Jharkhand District Judiciary” along with its new official logo on November 15, during the court’s Silver Jubilee celebrations.
The launch was done by Chief Justice of India–designate Justice Surya Kant, marking a significant moment for both the High Court and the district judiciary across the State.

A Digital Push for District Courts

The newly launched app aims to make judicial information simple, quick, and accessible for both lawyers and litigants. With all essential features available at the tap of a button, the app is expected to greatly improve transparency and efficiency in district court functioning.

Key Features of the “Jharkhand District Judiciary” App

Court fee payments can be made easily through a secure Online Payment system.

7. Court Calendar

The calendar displays all official court holidays and non-sitting days notified by the High Court, helping users plan their hearings.

High Court Also Launches New Logo Reflecting Jharkhand’s Identity

Alongside the app, a new logo of the Jharkhand High Court was also unveiled. The design blends cultural, natural, and constitutional symbolism to represent the spirit of the State and the judiciary.

Key Features of the New Logo

Outer Wall – Palash Flower
The outer ring represents the Palash flower, Jharkhand’s State Flower, symbolising the region’s beauty and resilience.

Inner Wall – Sal Leaves
The green inner layer depicts Sal leaves, highlighting the State’s tribal culture and abundant natural heritage.

Central Symbol – Scale of Justice
At the centre sits the Scale of Justice, representing fairness and equal treatment for all.

Watermark – State Demarcation
A watermark outlines the geographical shape of Jharkhand.

National Colours
The blended colours reflect the shades of the Indian National Flag, symbolising unity, sovereignty, and national identity.

Rising Sun
The logo also hints at a rising sun, signifying that justice, like sunlight, reaches everyone equally without any bias.

The introduction of the “Jharkhand District Judiciary” app and the unveiling of the new High Court logo together mark a forward-looking move toward modern, accessible, and citizen-friendly justice delivery. With digital services and symbolic representation aligned, the Jharkhand High Court sets the stage for a more transparent and efficient judicial system for the future.
