Jamshedpur, March 8: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, social worker Pappu Sardar, a devoted fan of Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit spread the message of women empowerment.

At MGM Hospital, the event began with a heartfelt felicitation ceremony where Pappu Sardar organized a cake-cutting ceremony.

The occasion was graced by the presence of a sister serving in the hospital, who cut the cake and extended warm wishes to all the women on International Women’s Day.

The event was not limited to administrative roles, as many female cleaning workers also participated, emphasizing the importance of recognizing women in all professions.

Simultaneously, Pappu Sardar extended the celebrations to the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, where he cut a cake and distributed gifts among the women in the office.

The ceremony also included a solemn swearing-in for women to emphasize the importance of their voices in the democratic process.

Pappu Sardar, addressing the media, highlighted the invaluable role women play in diverse sectors, ranging from national security to science, medicine, and engineering.

Speaking to the media, Pappu Sardar expressed gratitude for the opportunity to honour women on International Women’s Day. He acknowledged the critical role women play in the development of the country and emphasized their widespread contributions across different fields. Pappu Sardar acknowledged the significance of recognizing and appreciating the efforts of women in diverse professions.

Anu Sinha, Dietitian at MGM Hospital, shared her thoughts on the occasion, stating that the success of women today is often supported by the men in their homes. She emphasized the need for women to actively participate in the progress of the country while acknowledging the support of their loved ones.

The event served as a platform to celebrate not only the achievements of women but also the collaborative efforts of men and women in building a progressive and inclusive society.

The International Women’s Day felicitation ceremony in Jamshedpur, organized by Pappu Sardar, celebrated the multifaceted roles women play in society. It served as a reminder of the need for collective recognition and appreciation for the contributions of women, encouraging further collaboration between genders for the holistic development of the nation.
