Jharkhand News: 11 BIT Sindri students achieve outstanding ranks in GATE-24

Dhanbad, March 17: Eight students of BIT Sindri who displayed extraordinary academic brilliance received outstanding ranks in the Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE) Examination 2024, the results of which were declared today.

 The students who have achieved the prestigious all-India ranks are Kumar Anmol ( AIR03), Danish Hussain ( AIR 07), Ashish Kumar (AIR 17), Manan Sangahi ( AIR 24), Shiv Prasad Saw ( AIR 38 ), Saumdeep Banerjee ( AIR 62), Raj Kumar ( AIR 68), and Vikash Kumar ( AIR 80). All belong to the mining engineering department.

3 mechanical engineering students 

   Besides them, the BIT Sindri authorities said that three more students from the mechanical engineering department have also gotten prestigious rankings in this examination. They are Shubham Kumar ( AIR 150 2019 batch student), Sourya Gupt ( AIR 318, 2020 batch student) and Shubham Mukherjee ( AIR 410, 2020 batch students.

  Dr OM Prakash, a senior faculty member of mechanical engineering, said that more students in his department have received prestigious ranks, but due to Sunday, they could not give details.

Director congratulates students 

   BIT Sindri Director Dr Pankaj Rai, mining engineering department head Prof PK Singh, Dr Aditya Pandey, Dr Rijwan Hasim, Prof Manas Kumar Mallick, Prof Suman Hessa, Prof Neeraj Kumar Yadav, Prof Tanmay Dasgupta, Prof Roshan Kumar, senior teachers and Alumni Association members have also congratulated the students.

  “This achievement reflects students’ dedication and hard work and BIT Sindri’s supporting and enriching environment,” said faculty members.

   The faculty members of the mining engineering department said that these students have exemplified exceptional talent and determination by securing top ranks across the country. Their achievement underscores the quality of mentorship and education provided by the department.

  Senior faculty Prof (Dr) Rakesh Kumar, Dr Sunil Kumar, Naresh Prasad, Ran Vijay Singh, Prof BD Yadav, and mining engineering department HoD Prof ( Dr) DK Tanti, Dinesh Kumar Prasad, Ramnath Verma, Ranjan Kumar, Dr Sanjay Kumar, Naresh Prasad, and Rajiv Kumar have congratulated the students.
