Jharkhand News: 16 teams from Jamshedpur colleges to participate in YI’s national-level innovation competition

Jamshedpur, April 1: Imagine-Do–Share (IDS) is a national-level competition organised by CII-Young Indians (YI) across 65 cities in the country.

Students from colleges across the country will participate in the competition, which will be organised in three levels.

In the first phase (IMAGINE) students will submit an innovative idea for a greener earth.

In the second phase (DO) students will need to validate the selected idea by creating a prototype between 8th – 25th April 2024.

The third and final phase (SHARE) will be focused on pitch presentation of the validated ideas. The final national level pitch presentation will happen on 8th May, 2024.

Orientation and learning sessions will be conducted for participants during all three phases.

Total prize money of Rs 3.25 lakhs

This year, in this 4th edition IDS 4.0 has adopted the theme ‘Innovate for a Greener Earth’, reflecting the urgent need for innovative solutions to address environmental challenges.

A total of 16 teams from various colleges of Jamshedpur viz. XLRI, XITE, RVS College of Engineering and Technology and Srinath University have registered for the competition. The top three winners will get a total prize money of Rs. 3.25 Lakhs.

“The IDS 4.0 competition provides a platform for students to showcase their creativity, problem-solving skills and commitment to environmental sustainability. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with like-minded peers, network with professionals, and gain valuable experience in tackling real-world challenges. This competition not only offers substantial prize money but also serves as a platform for personal and academic growth,” Vedang Gutgutia, Chair Innovation Yi Jamshedpur said.
