Ramgarh: Action was taken by DMO Nitish Gupta regarding illegal mining, storage and transportation. Two tractors carrying stone chips illegally were caught near the Saini Hotel on the Ranchi-Hazaribagh main road by Mining Inspector Jitendra Kumar Mahto with the help of the police force.
On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Chandan Kumar, an intensive investigation campaign is being conducted to prevent illegal mining, transportation and storage. In this sequence, secret information was received that illegal stone chips are being transported on the Ranchi-Hazaribagh main road, which is being investigated immediately.

Taking action, the District Mining Officer, under the leadership of Inspector Jitendra Kumar, along with the police force near Saini Hotel, found two tractors containing one hundred cubic feet of stone chips each, which were confiscated along with the tractor. While handing over the tractor driver to the police station, an FIR was lodged in the police station against the owner and the persons involved.

District Mining Officer Nitesh Gupta said illegal mining, storage, and transportation are crimes. He said the department is vigilant to stop illegal mining in the district.
He added that on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, a raid campaign is being conducted to prevent illegal mining, storage and transportation, and legal action is also being taken against those caught.
