Ramgarh, Jan 10: Three persons died, and four were seriously injured in a road accident that occurred at Chitarpur under the Rajrappa police station area on Wednesday morning.
According to the information, the people of Chater village of Ramgarh were going to Parasnath to celebrate the New Year. Early in the morning, the Bolero, in which they were travelling, hit a parked truck from the front, due to which two people died on the spot while one seriously injured person has died in RIMS.
Villager Teklal Mahto’s daughter-in-law and 2-year-old grandson died at the accident site. The wife of seriously injured Dharmendra Mahto died in RIMS.

After the accident, the injured were brought to Ramgarh Sadar Hospital, where two people were declared dead. The remaining injured people were referred to RIMS in critical condition.
The bodies of the deceased have been kept in Ramgarh Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
After the news reached Chater village, there was a wave of mourning among the people. The people of the village went to Ranchi RIMS to see the injured.
