Dhanbad, May 2: In the wake of passengers’ massive rush, the railway has decided to run four summer special trains via Dhanbad and Ranchi from Saturday.
Senior divisional commercial manager (Sr DCM) of Dhanbad Rail Division Amresh Kumar said that summer special trains will provide convenience to passengers and make their travel easy in the present situation.
The four summer special trains are:
06091/06092 Kochuveli- Barauni- Kochuveli Special,. 06093/06094 Mangalore- Barauni- Mangalore Special,. 09619/09620 Udaipur City- Kolkata- Udaipur City Summer Special, and 09450 Howrah- Gandhidham summer Special.
Train no. 06091/06092 Kochuveli- Barauni- Kochuveli Special will run via Coimbatore- Erode- Katpadi- Vijayawada- Vijaynagaram- Jharsuguda- Ranchi- Bokaro- Dhanbad- Madhupur- Jasidih- Kiul..
Train No. 06091 Kochuveli- Barauni Special will run from May 04 to June 29. It will leave from Kochuveli every Saturday at 08.00 hrs and reach Dhanbad at 07.05 hrs on Monday and will depart from here at 07.15 hrs and will reach Barauni at 14.30 hrs on Monday itself.
Train No. 06092 Barauni – Kochuveli Special will depart from Barauni at 23.30 hrs on every Tuesday of the week from 07.05.2024 to 02.07.2024, reach Dhanbad at 07.30 hrs and will depart from here at 07.40 hrs and will reach Kochuveli on Friday at 13.30 hrs.

Train no. 06093/06094 Mangalore- Barauni– Mangalore Special will run via Coimbatore- Erode- Katpadi- Vijayawada- Vijaynagaram- Jharsuguda- Ranchi- Bokaro- Dhanbad- Madhupur- Jasidih- Kiul)
Train no. 06093 Mangalore- Barauni Special will run from May 5 to June 30, it will depart from Mangalore every Sunday at 14.15 hrs and reach Dhanbad at 15.40 hrs on Tuesday and will depart from here at 15.50 hrs and will reach Barauni at 22.30 hrs on Tuesday itself.
Train no. 06094 Barauni – Mangalore Special will depart from Barauni at 23.45 hrs on every Wednesday of the week from May 8 to July 3, It will reach Dhanbad at 05.50 hrs and will depart from here at 06.00 hrs and will reach Mangalore at 12.30 hrs on Saturday.
Train no. 09619/09620 Udaipur City- Kolkata- Udaipur City Summer Special will run via Ajmer- Jaipur- Agra Cantt- Kanpur- Prayagraj- DDU- Gaya- Dhanbad.
Train no. 09619 Udaipur City- Kolkata Summer Special will run from May 05. to June 30. It will depart from Udaipur City at 14.05 hrs every Sunday of the week and reach Dhanbad at 20.30 hrs on Monday and will depart from here at 20.40 hrs and reach Kolkata at 04.00 hrs on Tuesday .
Train no. 09620 Kolkata- Udaipur City Summer Special will depart from Kolkata at 05.30 hrs on every Tuesday of the week from May 07. to July 02. and reach Dhanbad at 10.55 hrs and will depart from here at 11.05 hrs and will reach Udaipur City at 23.15 hrs on Wednesday..
Train no. 09450 Howrah- Gandhidham Special will run via Asansol- Dhanbad- Koderma- Gaya- DDU- Mirzapur- Kanpur- Agra Fort- Kota- Ahmedabad. It will depart from Howrah at 20.00 hrs on 03.05.24 and reach Dhanbad at 01.00 hrs on Saturday It will depart further and reach Gandhidham at 23.00 hrs on Sunday.
