ACB nabs Netarhat School officer taking ₹50,000 bribe

Palamu, Dec 26: The administrative officer of Netarhat Residential School, Roshan Kumar Bakshi, was caught red-handed by the Palamu ACB team while accepting a bribe of ₹50,000 in exchange for processing the payment of a milk vendor’s bill.

Palamu ACB SP Anjani Anjan confirmed the incident. According to the information received, the complainant had informed the Palamu ACB team that a bribe was being demanded by the administrative officer of Netarhat Residential School for the payment of dues for milk supplies.

Upon receiving the information, the ACB team conducted an investigation under the direction of SP Anjani Anjan. Once it was confirmed during the investigation that the accused was indeed demanding a bribe, the ACB team devised a plan to catch him red-handed.

On Thursday, the police provided the complainant with the money and sent him to the administrative officer. The accused, Roshan Kumar Bakshi, called the complainant to his house. As soon as he accepted the bribe money, the ACB team arrived and caught him red-handed.

Regarding the matter, Palamu ACB SP Anjani Anjan stated that a complaint had been received against the administrative officer for demanding a bribe, and action was taken based on this complaint.
