Lieutenant Colonel Diwakar is said to have been mentally unwell and had been undergoing treatment for the past year. He had a habit of going to the roof to talk. Last night, he also went to the roof at some point. However, it is not clear what happened there.

Diwakar’s wife and daughter were at home and were unaware of when he went to the roof. It was only in the morning when a neighbour informed them that his body was lying below the building. The family had no knowledge of anyone leaving the house or going to the roof during the night, and an investigation is underway.

Upon receiving the report of the body found in the society, the Khelgaon police team arrived at the scene. The team also went to the roof but found nothing. Later, the deceased’s daughter handed over the mobile phone to the police. She also informed the police that someone had told her the mobile phone was on the roof, and she went there to retrieve it.
