Bramhdev Yadav assumes charge as Senior AO of BIT Sindri

Dhanbad, April 21: Dr Bramhdev Yadav, Associate Professor in the Civil Engineering Department of BIT Sindri, officially took charge as the new Senior Administrative Officer (AO) of the institute on Monday. A formal handover ceremony was held on campus, where outgoing AO Prof (Dr) Ghanshyam passed on the responsibilities to Dr Yadav.

Known for his popularity among faculty and students alike, Dr Yadav is a 1986–1990 batch alumnus of BIT Sindri. The event was attended by a large number of senior faculty members, reflecting the significance of the occasion.

Focus on Transparency and Student Welfare

Upon assuming office, Dr Yadav described his new role as an opportunity to serve the institution more effectively. “I will try my best to ensure transparent and efficient administration in the best interest of students,” he said.

BIT Sindri Director Prof (Dr) Pankaj Rai expressed confidence in the new AO’s leadership. “Dr Yadav has extensive experience in both academics and administration. Under his guidance, the institution is poised to reach new heights in all spheres,” he stated.

Outgoing AO Felicitated

Outgoing AO Prof Ghanshyam was felicitated during the ceremony for his significant contributions to the administrative development of the institute.

He shared his experiences and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve. Prof Ghanshyam also extended his full support to Dr Yadav in carrying out his new responsibilities.

Senior Faculty Marks Presence at the Event

Several key department heads and senior professors attended the handover ceremony. These included Prof (Dr) Prafull Kumar Sharma, Head of the Civil Engineering Department; Prof Dr Kalam from the Electrical Engineering Department; Prof Anil Kumar Rajak, Head of Metallurgical Engineering; and Prof Manoj Kumar from the Mechanical Engineering Department.
