Jharkhand News: Championship Dog Show in Jamshedpur from Jan 9-12

Jamshedpur, Jan 7: The 77th and 78th Championship Dog Show organized by The Jamshedpur Kennel Club along with 34th & 35th FCI Dog Show, under the auspices of the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and The Kennel Club of India will be held from January 9 to 12 at the Archery Ground of JRD Sports Complex in Bistupur.

The events will bring together big-breed dogs and their owners from India and abroad, where the dogs will showcase their beauty and uniqueness.

The canine show will be inaugurated by East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal. Till now, a total of 470 entries have been received, in which dogs and their owners from all over the country are participating.

International judges will also participate in this show, among which dog judges from Brazil, Thailand and Portugal are prominent.

New and Interesting Aspects

Some new and attractive aspects have been added to this year’s dog show. The special attraction is that for the first time famous dog breeds like Siberian Husky and Doberman will also be a part of this show. With the participation of these breeds, the show will see even more exciting contests and competitions.

Jamshedpur Kennel Club president Ruchi Narendran described the event as an important opportunity for dog show enthusiasts.

“This is not only a chance to enjoy the dog show, but it will also provide a great platform where dog lovers can meet each other and share information about their dogs,” she said.
