Dhanbad railway employees hold demonstration for OPS

Dhanbad, July 12: Railway employees of the Dhanbad Rail Division today held a massive demonstration for the implementation of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and withdrawal of the New Pension Scheme (NPS).

East Central Railway Karmchari Union (ECRKU) spokesperson NK Khawas said that on a call of the All India Railway Men’s Federation, the demonstration was held across the country today in support of the OPS demand.

The employees of all five zones of East Central Railway under the leadership of ECRKU central committee president DK Pandey and general secretary SNP Srivastava participated in the demonstration.

In Dhanbad Rail Division, employees under the leadership of ECRKU, all 14 branches demonstrated at different places. At Divisional headquarters in Dhanbad, NK Khawas led the demonstration.

Senior leaders Biswajit Mukherjee, Parmeswar Kumar, Mantu Sinha, SK Mahto, SK Das, D Kumar, Badri Kumar, Ravishankar, Ranil Rawat, Gajendra Singh, Mrig Bhushan Singh, Dipak Kumar, Shambhu Nath ram, Ritlal Gope, Devanand Das, Kaushlendra Kumar and others were present.
