Dhanbad, Oct 16: The Khelo India Asmita Cycling City League competition will be held at Koylanagar tomorrow. Over 300 girls from across the state have registered to participate in the sub-junior, junior, and senior categories.

This marks the first time the Khelo India Asmita Cycling competition is being organized in Dhanbad.

The National body, Cycling Federation of India (CFI), allotted the competition to the Jharkhand Cycling Association, which in turn entrusted the Dhanbad District Cycling Association with organizing the event.

Participants in the sub-junior and junior categories will compete in a 10 km race, while the senior category will cover an 18 km distance.

The technical committee for the competition includes Dhananjay Prasad Mahto, Abhishek Pandey and others.
Jitendra Mahto from Giridih has been appointed as the observer of the Asmita Cycling competition by the Cycling Federation of India.
An organizing committee has been formed under the leadership of District Cycling Association president Vinay Pandey.
Vice-president Mahaveer Prasad Mahto, secretary Abhishek Pandey, and several members will oversee the smooth conduct of the event.
