Daltonganj, April 16: A 60-year-old disabled passenger identified as Vishnu Deo Manjhi died in S3 coach of the Dn Patna-Barkakana Palamu express train.
Daltonganj railway station superintendent Umesh Kumar said the deceased and his wife, also disabled, had boarded this train at the Lalgarh Bihar railway station for Daltonganj.
However, Manjhi died when this train reached the Kajri railway station.
The dead man travelled from Kajri railway station to Daltonganj, a distance of 10 km.

Umesh Kumar said the couple looked very poor and distraught. The body was brought down from coach S3 by a team of railway personnel.
GRP Daltonganj and RPF took note of the death of a passenger who was very sick on this train.
At Daltonganj, the deceased’s relatives arrived and took the body under their possession.
The Daltonganj railway personnel extended all humanitarian approaches to the elderly couple.
