Ranchi, July 25: Delhi Public School Ranchi hosted a Felicitation Ceremony at the Vivekananda Auditorium to honour its CBSE Class X achievers of the 2025 batch. Students, parents and teachers gathered to commemorate the academic milestones reached by the young Dipsites.

The event was graced by Kiran Kumari Pasi (IAS), Director of Social Welfare and Director of Animal Husbandry, Jharkhand; Narendra Kumar Singh, IG (HR), Jharkhand and Col. Santosh Kumar, CO, 3 Jharkhand Battalion, National Cadet Corps, Ranchi, who presided as distinguished guests.

The ceremony began on with a welcome song performed by the school choir, setting a warm and celebratory atmosphere. The formal inauguration followed with the presentation of a ceremonial sapling and memento to the guests by the Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan. It was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries and dance presentation by the students.

The central attraction of the programme was the moment when the high scorers of AISSE 2025 were invited on stage. A total of 188 students who scored above 90% were felicitated individually.

Each achiever received a certificate and a trophy. The audience responded with applause, celebrating the triumphs of these bright young minds.

In his message, Narendra Kumar Singh remarked, “True success lies not just in accolades or academic brilliance, but in the strength of one’s character and the willingness to grow through every experience. Today’s accomplishments are a reflection of your dedication, but remember — the real world awaits your leadership, compassion and resilience.”

In her address to the gathering, Kiran Kumari Pasi expressed pride in the students’ accomplishments. She said, “These outstanding results are a testament not just to your intelligence but to the unwavering dedication, discipline and resilience you have shown throughout your academic journey”.

“Such achievements are not born overnight; they are built on years of hard work, sacrifices, and the unrelenting support of your teachers and parents. As you celebrate this milestone, I urge you to move forward with humility in your hearts and a desire to keep learning. True excellence lies not just in topping exams, but in becoming responsible, compassionate citizens who contribute meaningfully to society”, she added.

Col. Santosh Kumar said, “Success is a journey, not a destination. This achievement is a significant milestone, but it is only the beginning of a larger quest — the quest for lifelong learning, self-improvement and meaningful impact. Let this success ignite a deeper passion in you to aim higher, dream bolder and serve with integrity. Remember, in the long run, it is not merely marks or medals that define you, but your character, your values and your ability to persevere through challenges. Knowledge, when pursued with genuine curiosity and guided by discipline, becomes the most powerful tool you can possess.”

The programme culminated with a vote of thanks followed by group photography.
