Ranchi, May 23: Dr. Jaya Chauhan officially took charge as the new Principal of Delhi Public School, Ranchi. Her appointment was recently announced by the Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi, recognizing her academic credentials, services and leadership skills.
Having served DPS Ranchi for nearly two decades as a senior English faculty member, Dr. Chauhan is no stranger to the school’s ethos and culture. Her deep-rooted association with the institution and her contributions over the years have earned her widespread respect and admiration.

In various capacities, including Academic Incharge, Time Table Incharge and Activity In-charge, she has demonstrated versatility and commitment to academic excellence and student development.

Prior to her return, Dr. Chauhan served as the Principal of DPS Rourkela, where her brief yet impactful leadership was marked by remarkable academic progress and institutional achievements. Under her guidance, DPS Rourkela also became a recognized SAT centre, and the school saw a rise in discipline and academic outcomes.
