Jamshedpur, Dec 16: A horrific road accident took place early Tuesday morning in the Bistupur police station area of Jamshedpur, near the Marine Drive roundabout, claiming the life of a trailer driver.

According to information, the accident occurred in the wee hours, around 3 am, when a trailer carrying iron pipes from Rungta Mines suddenly went out of control and rammed into the road divider.

The impact was so severe that the driver’s cabin was completely crushed, trapping the driver inside.

The deceased has been identified as Suman Kumar.
