Hazaribagh, August 29: The body of a 55-year-old e-rickshaw driver was found late Thursday night near Budhwa Mahadev Mandir Chowk in the city.

The deceased was identified as Faiz Ahmad, also known as Kaish, a resident of Lohsinghna. Deep injuries on his neck, apparently inflicted with a sharp weapon, and multiple wounds on his face have raised suspicions that he was murdered.

Attacked While Returning Home
According to reports, Faiz Ahmad was returning home from work on Thursday night when he was attacked. The assailants brutally assaulted him, leaving severe injuries on his neck and face.

He was rushed to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College Hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead.
Family Warns of Agitation if Culprits Not Arrested
As news of the incident spread, hundreds of relatives and locals gathered in protest. The family alleged that Faiz Ahmad’s murder was deliberate and the result of a conspiracy.

The agitated crowd demanded that the police and administration swiftly arrest the culprits and uncover the truth behind the killing.
They warned that if the accused were not caught soon, they would launch a major agitation in Hazaribagh.
