Jharkhand News: East Singhbhum DC holds Janata Durbar

Jamshedpur, Jan 3: Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Ananya Mittal, today met common people at a Janata Durbar held at his office in Sakchi.

He gave a patient hearing to the problems of people and assured them of timely action.

During the Janata Durbar, more than 70 complainants placed their personal and social grievances before the deputy commissioner, on which he assured them of appropriate action.

Several complaints were regarding payment of compensation for land acquisition, medical aid, domestic dispute, land dispute, transfer, stoppage of salary of illegal teachers, road encroachment death threats and payment of job in Anganwadi centre.

The deputy commissioner’s attention was drawn to the memorandum on social issues and other basic facilities and problems, on which he assured of taking appropriate action.

Many cases were also resolved on the spot during the Janata Durbar. The applications received were forwarded to the concerned departmental officer and directed for timely action.

The district magistrate-cum-deputy commissioner directed the officials to establish coordination with the block office as well as other concerned departments and ensure timely action after investigation of the applications received at the Janata Durbar.
