Ranchi, August 14: To mark the 79th Independence Day on August 15, the All India Ex-Servicemen Bank Employees Federation (AIEBF), Jharkhand chapter, will host a mega blood donation camp at Pantaloons Mall near Lalpur Chowk, Ranchi.

Sergeant (Retd) Prem Prakash Shukla of Bank of India, coordinator of the AIEBF Jharkhand chapter, said the camp will run for four and a half hours, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm on Friday.

Air Force veteran and AIEBF president Bhupesh Choudhary (State Bank of India) stated that the Federation regularly undertakes various social welfare activities across the country for the benefit of the people. Members actively participate in such programmes to ensure their success.

He added that, on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, the Federation has chosen to celebrate by donating blood and encouraging the youth to do the same.

AIEBF vice-president and Navy veteran Murari Prasad Sharma (Punjab National Bank) urged the youth of Ranchi to join the blood donation camp in large numbers and celebrate Independence Day in a spirit of patriotism.
