Jamshedpur, Dec 20: The campus of Loyola School, Telco was filled with joy, colour and festive spirit as the school celebrated Christmas on Saturday.

The celebration began with a solemn prayer led by junior coordinator Zeenat Maria Sundi, followed by a serene prayer dance.

Students then presented a meaningful skit on the birth of Christ, conveying the timeless message of hope, love and compassion.

Dance performances and Christmas carols sung by students and teachers added vibrancy and cheer to the programme.

Delivering the Christmas message, administrator Fr. Gerry D’Souza said that Christmas brings a message of peace, love and joy for the entire human race.
Emphasising values such as patience, forgiveness and love, he urged students to speak gently, forgive quickly, help those in need, study sincerely and respect parents and teachers. He also cautioned that jealousy and hatred destroy harmony in life.
The highlight of the celebration was the joyful arrival of Santa Claus on a reindeer cart, which brought excitement and laughter among the children.

The programme was smoothly conducted under the supervision of coordinators Reshma Rodrigues and Zeenat Maria Sundi, with guidance from moderator Colleen Xavier.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal, Charanjit Oshon, who appreciated Father Gerry’s message and the participation of teachers and students.
