Jamshedpur, Dec 10: The winter carnival at Jamshedpur’s St. John’s High School (SJHS) turned out to be a spectacular affair this morning, drawing large crowds of students, parents, and teachers. With a festive theme centred around Christmas, the event created a lively and colourful atmosphere filled with cheer and joy.
An array of delicacies, most of them prepared by the teachers, proved to be a major attraction, offering visitors a culinary experience. Games such as Thunderball, Wheel of Fortune, Buzzwire, Darts, and Building Pyramids kept students engaged and entertained throughout the event.

The carnival was officially inaugurated by Principal Ashu Tiwary, who emphasized the importance of fostering happy and proactive learners. “A cheerful and engaged child is always a better learner,” she remarked during her address.
The Lucky Dip corner was a favourite among youngsters, with every participant walking away excitedly clutching gifts. The students of Class X played a pivotal role in organizing the event, ensuring its smooth execution and contributing to its success.
The school’s Director, G. Francis, graced the occasion and applauded the efforts of the organizing team. The local police station was also thanked for their unwavering support in managing the logistics and security of a program of this magnitude.
