Jharkhand News: Hemant Soren expands Cabinet, Deepika, Irfan and Baidyanath new faces

Ranchi, July 8: This time, Hemant Soren’s government will have 12 ministers instead of 11.

This time three new faces have got a chance in the Hemant cabinet. Congress leaders Deepika Pandey Singh and Irfan Ansari and Baidyanath Ram of JMM have been given a place in the cabinet.

Congress has removed one of its four ministers, Badal Patralekh, from the ministerial position. Badal Patralekh will be replaced by Deepika Pandey Singh as a minister.

Additionally, Irfan Ansari will replace the former minister Alamgir Alam.

The JMM has also included one more minister this time. Baidyanath Ram, who was sidelined from Champai Soren’s cabinet last time, is being given a place in this cabinet.

However, Hemant Soren’s younger brother Basant Soren has not been included in this cabinet.

Thus, there will be a total of 12 ministers in Hemant Soren’s government this time.

Former CM Champai Soren was the first to take the oath of office. Governor CP Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office and secrecy to all the ministers.

After Champai Soren, Rameshwar Oraon, the sole RJD MLA Satyanand Bhakta, Baidyanath Ram, Deepak Birua, Banna Gupta, Irfan Ansari, Mithilesh Thakur, Baby Devi, and Deepika Pandey Singh took the oath of office as ministers.

JMM – Champai Soren, Baidyanath Ram, Baby Devi, Mithilesh Thakur, Hafizul Hasan, Deepak Birua

Congress – Banna Gupta, Rameshwar Oraon, Irfan Ansari, Deepika Pandey Singh

RJD – Satyanand Bhokta
