Dhanbad, July 30: The Dhanbad police arrested two cyber frauds of Jamtara operating in the Rangragutu forest of the district under MPL Police Out Post (POP), around 45 km away here on Tuesday.
Giving this information, Nirsa SDPO Rajat Manik Bakhala told media persons that three cyber frauds were operating from the forest. After getting a tip-off about them, a police team of MPL POP officer-in-charge Yogendra Kumar cordoned off the jungle area and nabbed two of them on the spot.
Two cyber scamsters arrested
The arrested cyber frauds were identified as Vikash Daa ( 34), a resident of Bisthupur village under Narayanpur police station, and Haribol Daa (23), a resident of Sonbad police station of Jamtara district. The third cyber fraud who managed to flee from the spot was identified as Samir Daa of Lokania village under Narayapur police station.

The police seized eight mobile phones, two mobile sims, a plastic Tirapaal cover and a list of mobile numbers.

SDPO Rajat Manik Bakhala said that arrested frauds are being interrogated about their other syndicate members and their involvement in several cases.
The police officer said that the frauds had been camping in the Dhanbad district forest for the last two days to execute the cheating operation. Rangragutu is on the Jamtara- Dhanbad border and river Barakar crosses between the two districts.
