Ranchi, Dec 11: The Junior Doctors’ Association (JDA) of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi, has urged the authorities to close all illegal entry and exit points within the campus to ensure the safety of doctors and students.

In a memorandum submitted by the outgoing executive team, the JDA highlighted that maintaining RIMS as a fully secure, closed campus has been a longstanding challenge.

“The wall behind Hostel No. 8 has been broken, and local residents are using it freely for entry and exit. This not only compromises the security of students and doctors residing in the hostels but has also resulted in confrontations,” the JDA office bearers said.

The JDA has called on RIMS authorities to treat the matter with urgency and repair the broken walls to safeguard the campus, protect students and doctors, and ensure privacy.
