Ranchi, June 25: The Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA) organized an extensive outreach programme aimed at fostering legal literacy and awareness among students.
The event, hosted at Delhi Public School (DPS) Ranchi, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 200 students of Classes VIII to XII representing 50 schools across Ranchi city.
Co-curricular activities organised for students
The outreach programme featured a diverse array of co-curricular activities designed to engage students and promote a deeper understanding of the judicial and political systems of India.

The activities included Elocution, Extempore, Essay Writing, Painting, and Rangoli Making competitions, all conducted at an inter-school district level.
The top three rank holders of each and every competition were felicitated with merit certificates.
DPS Ranchi Principal commends legal literacy event
The Principal of DPS Ranchi, Dr. Ram Singh, expressed his admiration for the initiative. In his address, he said, “We are honoured to host this significant event at DPS Ranchi. Such programmes are essential in cultivating an informed and conscious youth who understand the importance of legal literacy. It is heartening to see students actively participating and showcasing their talents in various competitions.”
The event marked the occurrence of five simultaneous inter-school district-level competitions, creating an environment of healthy competition and learning. Participants demonstrated remarkable creativity and understanding through their performances and presentations.
