IIT ISM director Prof Sukumar Mishra was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony. He said that leadership in academia or any other field is developed through acceptance among the people and it can’t be thrust upon.

“For acceptance, a leader has to get acquainted with psychological and sociological aspects of the organization and its people or the place and then accordingly mould himself as per necessity before initiating any change as it will help to ensure his acceptability among the people,” said Prof Mishra. He appealed to the participants to take maximum advantage of the training programme.
