Ranchi, January 15: Jharkhand RSS Sah-Karyawah Dhananjay Singh, along with BJP organisational secretary Karmveer Singh, today invited ace cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni to attend the consecration of Ram Lalla to be held in Ayodhya on January 22.

Singh later told this writer that Dhoni has assured to visit Ayodhya. He said that ace archer Deepika had also been invited.

There are 16 persons, besides 62 saints of all religious and spiritual traditions, have been invited from Jharkhand to the mega Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha event in Ayodhya.

They include 20 tribal priests, like Santhal Gurubaba, Safahod, Baiga, Pahan, and Pujar, and heads of religious and spiritual organisations.

The invitees included:

  • AJSU leader Sudesh Mahto.
  • Veteran BJP leader Karia Munda.
  • Folk artist Mukund Nayak.
  • VHP leader Pancham Singh.
  • Businessman Manoj Agrawal (Dhanbad).
  • Naresh Jalan.
  • Deobrat Pahan.
  • Dr Chandrabhushan Tripathy.
  • Abhay Barnwal.
  • Ajay Jhunjhunwala.

MP shoots off a letter to CM

Meanwhile, Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth wrote a letter to CM Hemant Soren, urging him to declare January 22 a holiday in Jharkhand. “Along with this, there should be a ban on the sale of meat and liquor on that day, he added.

The MP also distributed the worshipped Akshat of Ram Mandir Ayodhya to Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital doctors, including Dr Bharti Kashyap, Dr BP Kashyap, Dr Bibhuti Kashyap, Dr Nidhi Gadkar Kashyap.
