Jamshedpur, June 28: The Student Appreciation Ceremony “NHES REKUP” was held at Narbheram Hansraj English School on Thursday.

The achievers of the session 2023-24 were felicitated.

The Chief Guest for the event was Rituraj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited.

Sharat Chandran, Director of Kerala Public Schools, Jamshedpur also graced the event as the Guest of Honour.

The event began with lamp lighting and Shloka Recitation. The NHES students displayed yoga posture on the tune of shloka.

Saplings and gifts were presented to the Chief Guest Rituraj Sinha and the Guest of Honour Sharat Chandran.

The Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhury presented the Annual Report highlighting the school’s achievement and initiative in academics and extracurricular activities.

A dance performance on the tune of Celine Dion’s motivational song was presented by the students of NHES.

The choir group of NHES presented an inspiring band performance on this occasion.

The Chief Guest, Rituraj Sinha awarded the achievers of ICSE while the Guest of Honour  Sharat Chandran awarded the achievers of JEE Advanced and ISC toppers.

The ISC achievers were also awarded by Nakul Kamani, the President of the School Managing Committee.

In ICSE Examination the top scorer in the Science stream was Shynita Mukherjee with 98.80%, she was closely followed by Subhangi Ray with 98.20% and Devesh Agiwal with 98.00%. Shynita Mukherjee got the 5th position in the city whereas Shubhangi Ray held the 9th position and Devesh Agiwal the 10th position in the city.

In the Commerce stream Shivam Kumar Jha topped with 97.00% followed by Ismeet Kaur with 96.00% and Manan Ringsia with 96.00%

The total number of ICSE candidates was 129 of which 49 students scored between 90 to 100% and 46 students scored between 80 to 89%

In the ISC Examination Priya Bansal topped the Science stream with 96.00%

She was closely followed by Roshni Choudhary and Shikhar Modi with 95.50% and Anikesh Kumar Singh with 95.25%

In the Commerce stream, Khushi Pasrija topped the class with 97.00%. She got the 4th position in the city.

She was closely followed by Debjeet Paul with 95.00% and Sanchita Ghosh 94.25%.

The total number of ISC candidates was 139 of which 37 students scored between 90 to 100% and 60 students scored between 80 to 89%.

The school achieved 100% pass percentage in ICSE as well as ISC.

20 students of NHES obtained 90 and above percentile scores in JEE Main 2024.

Arpit Chaudhary is the Kolhan topper in JEE Advanced 2024 with AIR 415 followed by Ankesh Kumar Singh with AIR 4848, Priyanshu Kumar Singh with AIR 14668 and Jay Shivansh with 18534.
