Jamshedpur, April 22: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) celebrated Earth Day on Tuesday. The aim of this event was to promote greater awareness and gratitude for the resources of the Earth.

The theme of World Earth Day 2025 is ‘Our power Our planet’. On this occasion, NHES has taken the initiative to switch off lights and fans twice in a week for 5 minutes.

The leftover water from students’ bottles is also preserved for watering the plants. By preserving water today, we can ensure its availability for future generations.

The junior section of NHES put up a presentation to demonstrate support for environmental protection.

The senior section of NHES participated in an environmental quiz session organized by the Science Club.

The idea was to sensitize the students about nature and protect the planet from environmental threats.

Manju V and Shikha, the Science Club moderators, took the initiative to spread awareness regarding environmental protection amongst the students.

The Principal, Paramita Roy Chaudhury, emphasized the necessity of such initiatives amongst students.
