Dhanbad, Dec 15: An Open Viva-Voce of PhD research scholar Rachna Roy was held today at the Bangla Language Department of Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University (BBMKU), Dhanbad.
Rachna Roy’s research focused on Reconfiguration and Criticism of Bangla Drama in the Mahabharat Story from 1950–2000.
The viva was conducted under the supervision of Dr Sharmistha Acharya, Assistant Professor at Sindri College, Sindri.

Dr Subrato Kumar Pal, former Associate Professor of the Bangla Department, Ranchi University, served as the external examiner. Dr Amita Verma, Dean of Humanities, presided over the function.
Several senior faculty members of the university attended the event, including HoD of Bangla Language Dr Manas Acharya and others.
The senior faculty expressed satisfaction with Rachna Roy’s responses and evaluation during the viva, appreciating the depth and quality of her research.
