Vikram and Pappu are college-going students, said Dwivedi.

The four had told police ‘about two more involved in the gang rape of the two minor girls,’ added police officer Dwivedi.

Incident happened on Oct 11/12

These two have gone underground. But Naudeeha Bazar police are determined to find these two out very soon.

Police officer Dwivedi said, “On the intervening night of October 11/12 two minor girls were gang raped when they were returning home after watching the Durga Puja celebration.”

The two victim minors ‘are kin of each other but no sister in direct relation’ said Dwivedi.

The two victim minors are non-tribals.

“The four that we caught and jailed were named accused of the gang rape. It is they who gave us names of two more involved in the gang rape,” added police officer Dwivedi.

Section 70 (1) of the Bhartiya Nayaya Sanhita has been invoked against the four arrested and jailed.
