Jamshedpur, May 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election rally at Ghatshila in East Singhbhum district on May 19, Sunday.
The Prime Minister will campaign for Vidyut Baran Mahato, the BJP candidate from Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat.
The election for the prestigious Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat will take place on May 25. This will be the Prime Minister’s first election rally in the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat.

Administrative officials review arrangements
Preparations have begun and security arrangements are being beefed up for the Prime Minister’s rally.
Senior administrative officials including deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Ananya Mittal and senior superintendent of police Kaushal Kishore took stock of security arrangements at the Moubhandar Football Ground, the venue of the rally on Monday.
They went around the venue and the helipad site where the PM’s chopper would land.
The deputy commissioner and senior SP also held a meeting with other officials of district administration, authorities of Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), which owns the football ground and BJP leaders.
The district administrative officials will also visit the venue of the rally today to oversee the security arrangements.
