Dhanbad, July 20: Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation on Saturday shot off a memorandum to the Prime Minister demanding the enactment of the Population Control Act (PCA) to control the increasing population imbalance in society.

Memo submitted to Dhanbad DC

District coordinator of the Foundation Sanjay Singh sent the memorandum to the PM through Deputy Commissioner Dhanbad expressing concern over the increasing danger of population explosion and said it can be divisive for Indian culture.

“The problem is increasing day by day. Before the situation goes out of control, it is high time to enact laws for maintaining population balance in society and avoiding the danger of possible civil war,” said the memorandum.

Foundation has support of 125 MPs

Janshankhya Samadhan Foundation has been campaigning for population balance across the country for the last 11 years and has the support of 125 MPs including Union Minister Giriraj Singh, and RSS national executive member Dr. Indresh Kumar.

Foundation’s Jharkhand secretary Dipak Singh said that to maintain the present population balance in society the Foundation has resolved to intensify the awareness campaign and chalked a massive plan to check unbalancing factors through all possible ways.

“Only an Act can check the intentional habit of increasing population. So, the Foundation has requested the Prime Minister to enact the law to check this. If needed, the foundation members would not hesitate in gheraoing MPs and MLAs,” said Dipak Singh.

Foundation’s state executive committee member Sheshnarayan Singh, Bokaro district president Sanjay Modak, district general secretary Vikram Mahto, Deepak Kumar Jha and Jitendra Kumar Soni, were members of the delegation that handed over a memorandum to the district administration for the PM.
