Dhanbad, Oct 18: Priyanka Kumari of Dhanbad Cycling Academy clinched the top position in the Khelo India Asmita Cycling City League Competition held at Koylanagar.
In the junior category, Sameeksha Kumari of Birsa Munda Shishu Niketan, Rajganj secured the first prize. The race covered a distance of 18 km for senior participants and 10 km for junior girls.
The event was organised by the Jharkhand State Cycling Association under the direction of the National Cycling Federation. More than 300 girls from various schools participated in the competition. Dhanbad MP Dhulu Mahto was the chief guest and flagged off the race.

The event was attended by chief instructor Jitendra Kumar Mahto, Rajkumar Mehta (Giridih), Dhananjay Prasad Mahto, among others.
