Ramgarh, June 14: Military Hospital Ramgarh and Blood Bank, Sadar Hospital conducted a blood donation camp on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day today.
123 units of blood were collected
The life-saving event saw an overwhelming response from the community, with numerous volunteers stepping forward to donate blood and contribute to a noble cause. A total of
123 units of blood were collected in the camp which can save up to three times i.e. 369 lives. 115 serving personnel donated the blood along with 6 ladies and 2 civil staff.

“We are overwhelmed by the community’s response and deeply grateful to everyone who participated in the blood donation camp,” said Brig SC Kandpal, Station commander, Ramgarh Cantt who was also the chief guest of the event.
“Each donation can make a profound difference in someone’s life, and the generosity displayed today is truly inspiring,” said Col Vivek Upadhyay, Commanding Officer MH Ramgarh.
Military Hospital Ramgarh extended its heartfelt gratitude to all donors, volunteers, and medical professionals who made this event a success. Their selfless contributions have significantly bolstered our blood reserves and will help save countless lives.
This event would not have been possible without the support of Blood Bank, Sadar Hospital and Dr Mahalakshmi, Civil Surgeon, Sadar Hospital who provided resources and assistance in organizing the camp.
