Jharkhand News: Ranchi cement trader shot at by criminals

 

Ranchi, Oct 15: In Ranchi’s Kathal Mod area on Wednesday, gunmen opened indiscriminate fire on a cement trader. The attackers, riding a motorcycle, fired more than half a dozen bullets at the trader and then fled the scene.

The injured businessman has been admitted to a hospital in critical condition, where he is undergoing treatment.

The incident occurred near Shambhavi Enterprises, a shop dealing in rods and cement, at Kathal Mod. The victim has been identified as Radheshyam Sahu.

According to locals, Radheshyam Sahu was standing outside his shop as usual when two assailants on a motorcycle arrived at the spot.

Without uttering a word, the criminals began firing at Radheshyam Sahu. Sources suggest the shooting may have been linked to a personal dispute.

Acting on information from local residents, the police quickly reached the scene and rushed the injured trader to the hospital. A case has been registered, and the police are actively searching for the suspects.
