Dhanbad, April 7: The Ranchi-Gorakhpur Express trains (18629/18630), considered a lifeline for people traveling between the southern and northern parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, and eastern Uttar Pradesh, will remain cancelled on three days due to non-interlocking work between Gorakhpur and Gorakhpur Cantt stations.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr DCM) of Dhanbad Rail Division, Md Iqbal, informed that Train No. 18629 (Ranchi–Gorakhpur Express), departing from Ranchi, will be cancelled on April 18, April 25, and May 2.
